Recycler - Helping the world recycle
Your Letters, Stories and Raps

I love getting post, so thanks to everyone who has sent me their wonderful work to put on my website. Please keep it coming!
Dear Recycler,
I hope you had a lovely time at St Leonard's school, Dunston. I loved the song - it was really good. Remember these words: reduce, reuse, recycle. we looked at the internet and sang your song. It was fast. We loved the messages.
Thank you for coming to our school.
From Lucy Strike, age 8
The world has got a problem, we throw too much away
We want to tell the people, recycling's here to stay
We have to save the planet, make it a better place
By using less packaging put a smile upon your face.
NO litter in the parks or in our schools and streets
The world would be a better place for us to go and meet.
So think about recycling, reducing and reuse,
and everyone will be happier and all things will be cool.
From Tanya, Shane and Matthew.
Dear Recycler,
Thank you for coming to my school. Your rap was great, it was brilliant.
This is my rap:
There's a really big problem, the piles are getting higher, remember to recycle because it's really good.
You are the best, we really want you to come again.
Love from Natalie, age 8
A Recycled Poem by Ellie
Reduce Reuse and Recycle,
Come to school on your bicycle,
Don't throw so much away,
Improve our planet day by day,
Recycle cardboard, cans and tins,
Even those empty bottles of Pimms,
Recycle nearly everything you use,
You can't really get confused,
Show the world what you can do,
Remember to recycle it's really up to you!
Keep sending your work to Recycler at Waste Watch, 56-64 Leonard Street, London, EC2A 4LT or email recycler@wastewatch.org.uk and look for it here next term.
Oh! I hope you have started your 3 point challenge at school and are remembering to remind the grown-ups about what else you can do at home!
What people say about Recycler...
When you came to do an assembly at our school I liked your dance and I learnt a lot about recycling and reusing. I enjoyed it. I have got my mum to reuse the plastic bags from the supermarket.
