Compost at school

Composting at school is a fun way to learn about nature while also reducing the amount of organic waste that the school produces. An added bonus is that students can actually get to see the end result of their efforts – their finished compost being used to beautify their school’s grounds.

The standard school offer is 2 x 330 litre bins.

Bins can only be ordered and delivered in term time. Accessories such as classroom caddies are available. Please call 0845 077 0757 and press the relevant button to order your compost bins.

Please ensure that you have available:

• The full delivery address of the school (including postcode)
• A current email address
• Your credit/debit card details*

We will email confirmation upon receipt of your order, which can be used as a receipt, should you need to claim back the cost of the bins.

*some local authorities are subsidising the cost of school bins – if you fall into one of these areas you will be informed by our call centre.
