Welcome!

Hello there!  I am out and about in your area promoting the benefits of, and providing advice on all aspects of, home composting - eg. where to place your bin, what you can put in it, how you can use the finished compost etc.  I attend local shows and events e.g. Farmers' Markets and local fairs, and I am available to give talks to gardening groups, allotment societies, and community groups (eg. WIs). I hope to meet you soon!

Tips from your advisor

Events I'm attending

Come along and say 'hello' at this Sefton Council event in the Botanic Gardens where I will be on hand to tell you all about home composting!  A limited number of 50l bags of green waste compost  will also be available on a 'first come first served' basis to Sefton residents!

It's May Day Bank Holiday!  But not for me!  I'll be at Gatewarth CRC with staff from Warrington Borough Council to promote home composting and recycling in general.  So, if you are planning to tidy up your garden and visit the CRC on Monday, why not pick up some tips on home composting and recycling at the same time?

I will be at Wirral Farmers' Market with staff from Wirral Council to celebrate Compost Awareness Week 2008!  We will be outside the Village Hall so why not stop by and find out all about home composting when you've finished your shopping!

Visit this Sefton Council event in Coronation Park where I will be able to tell you all about home composting and how easy it is to get started!  A limited number of 50l bags of green waste compost will be available to Sefton residents on a 'first come first served' basis!

Why not visit Reaseheath College for a fantastic family day out!  As well as being able to find out all about home composting from me, there will be dairy and horticultural demonstrations, riding displays, dog show and agility, and much more - have a look at the Reaseheath College website for further details. N.B. Admission fee applies.
