Companies offered opportunity to consult on their waste
The re3 partnership, based in Berkshire, is encouraging local businesses to have their say on a new plan devised to help them bin their current waste practices and get into the spirit of recycling.
The draft outlines a series of measures to help companies reduce and recycle their waste and follows a survey carried out looking at the recycling habits of 400 firms which found that only 37 per cent of companies recycled their food waste, while 39 per cent recycled plastic.
The plan hopes to introduce recycling collections, encourage reprocessing schemes and provide information for businesses on what they can and can’t recycle.
