Businesses join recycling scheme

Recycling scheme a success with local businesses.
More than 70 businesses in Darlington have signed up for a free scheme to recycle cardboard and paper.
Darlington Borough Council launched the programme last December. It forms an essential part of the Council’s Making Waste Work campaign, which aims to reduce rubbish by raising businesses’ awareness of recycling.
Darlington Council said it was pleased with the response from businesses so far but hopes that the campaign will continue to grow.
