A new South Yorkshire recycling firm is claiming to be able to recycle 99 per cent of waste electronic and electrical equipment and says that in 99 per cent of cases it won't cost business customers a penny.
Barnsley-based SR Recycling is inspired by Japan where equipment is taken to pieces rather than recycled after being ground up.
SR's approach has won the praise of South Yorkshire Green Business Club and Sheffield Chamber, which has just used the firm to dispose of half a tonne of IT waste from its Albion House offices.
