Recycling Centre made from recycled materials

A Merseyside household waste recycling centre (HWRC) is due to get a pioneering road foundation built from baled car tyres.
The route into the Sefton Meadows HWRC in Maghull is being improved in order to make it easier for people to access the recycling containers within the centre. More than 250,000 used car tyres will be used to improve the road foundations.
