Opera star helps celebrations hit the right note
Lesley Garrett, the opera singer, has helped St Albans-based recycling firm, The Pearce Group, to celebrate 140 years of trading and opened its newly built head office.
The company processes 3,000 tonnes of recycling materials per week and, with recent acquisitions, will be able to provide a one-stop recycling solution.
£4 million has been invested into the business over the last 18 months, to enable the company to continue recycling paper and plastics and help with an expansion into wood, bottles, cans and glass recycling.
