Take a tour of rubbish attraction!

The multi-million pound Scarborough Resource Recovery Centre is being opened to the public for two days in September.
The centre processes the blue bin recyclables collected in the borough, and the tours give residents the opportunity to come along and see for themselves what happens to materials collected at their kerbside.
Harry Briggs, Recycling Development Officer for Scarborough Council, says that visitors who come to the site are always amazed at how much material is collected as well as the quality of the recyclables which travel through the centre on a daily basis.
