About the Green Familia
The Green Familia is a natural living blog that helps show how easy it is to make eco-friendly options in our day to day life. It helps celebrate the best of the UK designers, informative posts, great gift ideas, organic and green options for the whole family. We do not expect people to become a "Greenie" overnight but if each day we can promote natural alternatives which are not only better for our families but for the environment we live in, changing our habits will become the preferred option.
Read Brenda’s blog and find the how she is getting on..."I’m pledging to use my re-usable carrier bags".
About A Modern Mother
The blog chronicles my life and includes other random thoughts on motherhood. In it, you will meet my husband and my three girls, known as: Emily, Alexandra and HM (stands for high maintenance or her majesty -- both are relevant).
I’m pledging to declutter my garage.
About My Zero Waste
My Zero Waste shows the 'average family' how to reduce weekly landfill waste by making better consumer choices, choosing products with recyclable packaging, creative reuse of items and composting.
Our story has been featured on local and national radio, local, national and international newspapers and TV news.
Learn how we have reduced our weekly waste from two bins full to less than 100 grams whilst still enjoying the trappings of 21st century life!
I’m pledging to make it easier for others within my community to waste less.
About The Rubbish Diet
The Rubbish Diet documents Karen’s attempts at a zero waste challenge while juggling the landfilling habits of her husband and two young children. Within eight weeks of committing to wasting less, the family reduced its household waste so much that during a local Zero Waste Week all they threw out was a plaster. It has since settled at its "ideal weight" and their monthly rubbish now comfortably fits into just one carrier bag. The success of The Rubbish Diet has been profiled on BBC Radio 4's Woman's Hour and the blog came joint runner-up in the 2009 MediaGuardian Innovation Awards.
I’m pledging to use leftovers for lunch each day and use more recycling facilities.
About BeMoreEco
