There are pots of things you can do with yoghurt and dessert container

What are they made from?

Yoghurt pots are made from polystyrene.

Reuse them!

  • As with all plastic containers, where possible keep them for storage
  • You can also use them for filling with juice before freezing to make ice lollies!
  • Schools & playgroups may use them as craft materials
  • They can be used in the garden as pots for seedlings or cane covers

Fill old yogurt pots with bird food/seeds and melted (not hot!) hard fat (eg Lard), insert piece of long string into the middle and let it hang over the side of the pot, put in the fridge to go hard then remove pot and hang the chilled "cake" in the garden for the birds!
