Really Rubbish Instruments show electricals can be recycled!
We're predicted to spend a massive £7.3bn on electricals in the UK in the run up to Christmas this year! Much of this will replace broken or unwanted items, so Recycle Now is teaming up with The Really Rubbish Orchestra and BBC Last Choir Standing finalists Hear Me Now! to raise awareness that small waste electrical items - such as games consoles, kettles, power tools, computers and mobile phones - can be recycled and turned into new products.
A new survey from Recycle Now has revealed that more than a third of us still believe we can't recycle the small electrical goods we are replacing - but 80 per cent of us also say we'd make more effort to recycle if we knew we could.
It's easy to recycle electricals - you can find your nearest collection centre using out postcode locator or ask your retailer who may take back items for recycling.
