Veolia and Southwark Council invite you to a "Teachers' Evening" at the Recycling Discovery Centre – a unique learning experience in London for your pupils and right on your doorstep!

The centre provides a fun and interactive experience for Key Stage 2 pupils to help them learn more about recycling. Sessions are linked to the national curriculum (Maths; English; Science; Geography) and are certified by the Council for Learning Outside the Classroom.
See for yourself what pupils can expect from the experience:
• Explore the three interactive zones:
o The home zone – step on the floor panels to decide what goes where
o The research zone – explore materials’ properties and life-cycles
o The work zone – sort out mixed recycling using a mini-MRF (Materials
• Cast your vote in the ‘Who wants to be a recycling champion?’ quiz

• Visit the real Materials Recovery Facility (MRF)
