Recycle those trickier items
Confused about what items can be recycled?
Grace is taking things into her own hands by teaching her parents a thing or two about recycling!
She noticed they were forgetting about the shampoo bottles in their bathroom.
Now, thanks to Grace, they’ve put an extra bin in the bathroom to help them remember to recycle their bathroom plastics. Grace, you’re a recycling hero!
Dom is a real recycling pro.
For him there is nothing too big or small to be recycled (and you know every single item counts!).
He’s stepped up his recycling game this Recycle Week by even remembering to recycle the trigger sprays from his cleaning bottles. (Yes, you can really recycle those too!).
We salute you Dom, you recycling hero!
Meg is a top planet protector.
She never forgets to recycle her plastic bottles, drinks cans or paper.
But she was putting her deodorant cans in the rubbish bin because she wasn’t sure if they could be recycled.
She decided to take action for this Recycle Week and discovered that you can recycle deoderant cans as long as you make sure they’re empty!
Now Meg’s recycling more than ever. Keep up the good work!
Empty. Crush. Put the lid back on.
Eva memorised these three simple steps to make sure she recycles her plastic bottles the right way.
Eva’s really taking things into her own hands this Recycle Week by sharing her empty, crush, put lid back on before you recycle tip with her friends on group chat.
Eva, you’re a recycle boss. Keep up the good work!
